There is nothing wrong with this mount! Screws into the storage area on the dashboard. No 3M tape and the phone mount perfectly holds my Samsung S21 Ultra with my Otterbox case. The optional action camera mount works great with my DJI Osmo action camera. The bracket is also the perfect length. I love this mount! Before purchasing this mount I tried 4 different mounts including the cup holder mount. hated them all. Whatever the dealer used on the dash when describing my jeep, no tape sticks and the air vent mounts suck, especially on jeeps! The cup holders are too low and uncomfortable. Window mounts block the view too much. Then I saw the bullet point mount and knew why not! First off road ride in my jeep and the phone in that mountain was like a rock! Has never fallen out and was able to move my phone at the perfect angle to where I need it to use my GPS program. My 2018 JKU Jeep doesn't have a media screen, so I didn't block anything important. In the future I plan to buy a tablet mount to use GPS on a big screen.
