OK! So NO ONE wants to admit that they need help with "personal items"! I know it! But seriously, when my back came out, and I mean OUT. This thing just saved my life AND my dignity! I'd like to start off by saying I AM a little more, but I bought it for other reasons. 1. I was pretty crazy when I was young and my back is in shambles. Even my doctor called my discs "torn". When it got so bad that I couldn't walk, stand, turn, or even bend over, I knew I was in some kind of pickle. 2. I only have short arms. Like a T-Rex for short. I know it and it is what it is. So when I couldn't twist, twist, or bend, my short arms became a HUGE problem. I decided to look for options as soon as I realized I might need something and I'm glad I did! I had read other reviews of cracked and broken handles so I took 2 just in case but I have NEVER had a problem with them. and now i have one for home and one for travel. When I was in the thick of things, that is, when I was in so much pain I could barely move, the lower friend wouldn't let me ask for SUCH help. it literally saved my dignity and probably much, much more. So, YES, I'm confused that I need something like this? YUP! Of course. but when I think of other people who are suffering like me and know that I can help them find something that will help them maintain their independence and dignity with a good product? Yes, I'm willing to endure some public embarrassment over this! I use it sometimes now just to be safe when my back feels like it's "out of control" again just to avoid doing stupid things that hurt me again and get me back to a literal state could lead, I mean, keep still. NO FUN! If you need help for any reason. This product! It does exactly what it needs to do, safely and easily. I tried another type before settling on the Bottom Buddy and was UNIMPRESSED to say the least. If YOU need help, try Bottom Buddy! It also comes with a small carrying case.
