Review on 🖨️ Enhanced Micro Direct Extruder for Creality Printers by Gopal Baltimore

I bought both E3D Hemera and Mirvo Swiss DD full metal for my Ender 3s. Each extruder has its own advantages. But I will mostly switch to Micro Swiss. Packing, everything was packed in small plastic bags and packed in a big carton. The quality of the packaging and graphics were top notch. It can take a lot of improvement if you want your product to stand out in stores. Which I think they have in micro centers. It was easy, they have instructions online, but they use different terms for some of the mounts. For example, they call the m5 SHCS a nylon patch screw. A little confusing but I have a big brain and I figured it out. The setup process is basically just changing the X-axis roller wheels and moving the extruder motor. It took about 30 minutes to set up and run. The first print after calibration went flawlessly. Nice. No traffic jams or blockages. Now Hemera. The Hemera packaging was beautiful. I did not expect this. Everything had its own little compartment in a minimalist box. With a nice clean logo on the side. The Hemera installation requires more disassembly as you will be replacing stepper extruder wires, thermistor wires, and hot end wires. So it will take some time. Trying to find a mount that would work on the Ender 3 was a difficult task, so I ended up modifying my own. After all the brackets were in place, the brackets holding the stepper motor to the board came loose and caused all sorts of problems. That's the biggest problem. If someone made an aluminum mount I would buy it in a heartbeat. Nothing can stand in the way of the combination of geared extruder and hotend when it is in working order. I've run over 1000 hours and it still prints like new.
