Finding a simple, compact and bright EDC flashlight is not an easy task. Most lights have too many modes and switches, increasing the chance of failure, lows are often too dim and highs are too bright, shortening runtime. This great flashlight is perfect for EDC - only two modes and a very handy momentary function, as well as the ability to always be on. Light output starts at 50 lumens, which covers 95% of my needs when searching or repairing in dark rooms. Even at 50 lumens, the light is sharp, clear and illuminates a large area even outdoors. Ideal for illuminating small work areas such as electronics, basements, car interiors or engines. An additional 250 lumen mode is great for instantly flooding a backyard or dark alley at night to spot potential threats. Switching between modes, as well as between instant and permanent switching, is very intuitive and easy. The switch requires a good amount of pressure for a consistent click, but it's what you'd expect from a flashlight, designed primarily to illuminate small areas for short periods of time, making deep instant toggling a welcome and handy feature. .
