Review on 🖨️ Enhance Printer Connectivity with TRENDnet 1-Port Print Server TE100-P1U by Abidzar Olivas

Bought this print server to replace an old print server that is no longer working. I used to have a Linksys print server which was very annoying to set up, and then Tritton (now discontinued). I liked Tritton especially for its ease of use, setup and full configuration via a web browser by IP address. My internal domain is 192.168.1.x by default while TrendNet was set to 192.168.0.x which required an install. cd and manually change the IP number to 192.168.1.xx (or you can fully configure DHCP - I wanted to do this manually so the router would point to the same IP number every time it resets since I have both PC and Mac and the IP number works best for me). After installing the CD and changing my assigned IP address, I tried to print from any computer on the network using the printer and IP number that I had previously configured (I've been using the same IP number since the old print server died was) and crossed our fingers, everything worked out great. No other changes were needed (again, I already had this printer and the same IP address on each computer). I would give 5 stars if I didn't have to install the CD. The CD should only be installed on the PC, not on the Mac. I will also come back in 6 months and update the review. I would probably raise this to a 5 star rating if there are no issues with the print server. The connected printer is an HP LaserJet P2015d.
