They don't work on wet surfaces

I was so excited to try them but they are terrible. It's fun to play with them. The crayons can be used outside of the tub on paper, they are a very soft wax so they can be mixed adding a new interesting way of coloring. Dot marker, non-toxic and odorless. Cons: - Neither the pencil nor the marker will work on a wet surface. Also, these bath chalks and markers will not work in the bath/shower unless the surface is completely dry. The markers are very watery or low in pigment and therefore do not work well on wet surfaces - they bleed/bleed easily. and just make a big brown watery mush. The colored pencils are made of soft wax and cannot be washed off with water. So if they are written on a dry surface, they will not peel off easily. Colored pencils crumble in small places when drawing. They end up on the floor in the shower and are not washed off. We use a plastic cutting board to draw with colored pencils. When wet, it sticks to the shower wall. It must be dry to be used with colored pencils. Outside of the shower we use markers on paper.
