The crayons can be used outside of the tub on paper, they are a very soft wax so they can be mixed adding a new interesting way of coloring. Dot marker, non-toxic and odorless. This is my second order of Crayola bath sticks. My 1.5 year old daughter loves them. She is easy to write. Only problem is when they run out you have to click on them to push the crayon forward and my daughter tends to press too hard and break them so they move really fast when under pressure break.
