I use this to connect to my home theater. Connections for speakers, headphones, etc. Simply wipe the plug a little, insert and twist a little to straighten it. I've had issues in the past, particularly with RCA speaker plugs and headphone jacks, becoming static or crackling over time. You have to plug and unplug it or wiggle it to restore the clear sound. After using this product I did not have such problems.
