The rubber edge separates from the handle.
I bought it several times, knowing that sooner or later the blade would detach from the handle. But I love that it's completely transparent and goes well with the tiled wall it's hanging on. I went shopping again (since both shower scrubbers need to be replaced). Much to my surprise, the cost of the same product increased from $8.99 to $17.96. (bought less than 2 years ago). Knowing the blade will come off I will NOT pay double for a poor quality product. I will look elsewhere.
