CO-MONITOR ONLY, NO SMOKE DETECTOR!
As another reviewer noted this is just a CO monitor, when connected to real smoke detectors it gives an alert if those smoke detectors go off an alarm but this device is in fact it doesn't detect smoke itself, leaving me at a loss as to where I just need some sort of monitoring and no smoke detection. It's better to go for a real estate model and check what you're getting during the return window, because one of the ones I got was bad right out of the box.
