Small, light but with durable paper that you can draw on with ink and watercolors.
I use an A6 album or a small portrait alpha album, it has many pages and the paper is thick enough to work with ink and watercolors. I really like the white paper - the colors on it are right. The small size is easy to carry, and with a bulldog clip and ponytail tie to keep it open or closed while I'm painting in my purse, it's incredibly handy.
