Review on πŸ“Έ NiceFoto 70cm Portable Parabolic Softbox for Portraits - Quick Set-up, Deep Design with Honeycomb Grid Strip, Double Soft Cloth, and Carry Bag by Daniel Oliver

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product but there are a few things to note

First of all this product is GREAT! It's well built, easy to assemble and a fantastic price. But there are a few things I would like to warn the buyer about before purchasing this product. The bag is not the one in the photo! It's a cheap drawstring gym bag. It is not soft and looks unprofessional! I would be happy if nicefoto would update the photos or donate a cloth bag.2. The teeth that hold everything together are a bit thin. And they're outside the dome, not inside! This makes it difficult to mount it on the light source as there are no good spots to grab the dome!3. The locking knob on the Bowens mount is very easy to loosen! I caught myself pulling it out a few times during the shoot. It's not a big deal, but it's frustrating when you're trying to attach it to a light and it comes loose and twists. Overall I love this softbox and give it 5 stars because the price makes up for some of the shortcomings! But I still think they should include a soft bag and not a gym bag! If you want the soft case plus gel holder and all the other hassles I've listed eliminated, then I'd spend the extra $30 and buy a Mini II Aperture Dome! But if that's too much of a jump, then this is the dome light for you! For my review and comparison of this dome and the mini-aperture dome! Visit my YouTube channel BenGleasonMedia!
