I expected the pages to be a bit thinner than they are (I'm not complaining, just what I expected) and I was surprised to find them quite thick are what helps maintain temperature. I use this for grocery shopping to keep cold/frozen groceries at a good temperature as I usually go to multiple places to buy different groceries on my first trip. this is especially useful on hot summer days. The only thing that bothers me is that there is no base plate whatsoever on the underside. I understand that the bag is designed to be easily folded for storage and a hard bottom would make this difficult or almost impossible. But maybe a more flexible material like plastic wrap would help with some dexterity. But for most, that's probably not a big deal as you might not be trying to carry a bag as big as I tried. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
