Review on πŸͺš Tool Aid S&G (89800): 5" Sanding Block for Precise and Efficient Sanding by Greg Bellman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good durable rubber

There is some weight to this block. It's a bit small for big hands, but that's the size and type of block that's always been around. I cut out some cheap sandpaper and stuck it in a block and it held securely. The flaps lift easily, the nails are sharp and will poke through paper, and a stubborn thumb is fine. I like this block because the rubber is "alive" and has a suppleness, not a harshness. The bottom is smooth, there are no flatness problems. The block has no chemical smell. It appears to be the same rubber as some of the more expensive blocks. It's rare to get products that are exactly the same as the tools from years ago. This.
