Excellent device for the price and options
So, for the price and options, this controller is five stars. Easy to install, has all the necessary connections and is easy to use. Soft start and variable speed are aftermarket clutches. I have a Windstar Dual Fan in a '93 zip. I have no issues with power or overheating with this controller. Great article. By the way, what bothers me is the 30-second runtime after shutdown and you can't turn it off. Efans draws a lot of current in 30 seconds. You can manually override it with a switch, but that's a minor inconvenience. Don't dock a star.
