The Arris T25 on Xfinity is hot trash and has nothing to do with anyone's setup or signal. I and a few others have had this experience. You can see it on the Xfinity forums and Revain reviews. Once a week this thing goes off in the middle of the night. The only way to get it back is to turn it off and on again. Reaching out to Comcast won't do much. Comcast will sympathize with you, tell you the signal looks good from their end, and recommend that you contact Arris for assistance. Appeal to Arris will bring even less. They'll have you looking at the status page and blaming the upstream QAM performance for not being in the 45-51dBm range. This is despite Comcast already saying that this is normal and that Docsis 3.1 only requires 35-49 dBm. There's nothing you can do about it and you end up in an endless troubleshooting loop with no results. The fact that everyone experiences this once a week in the middle of the night speaks for itself. This is no coincidence. That's something about this modem and Xfinity. I wish I had never bought that thing. To learn from mistakes. Don't buy this.
