The last one of these ultrasonic cleaners I bought only lasted 1 year with maybe 1 month of use. Thus after only 12 uses (maximum) he was dead and could not be recovered. It has a switch in the lid which I think may have been a problem last time. When draining, did the control panel bottom and maybe water got in? This creates a sound that feels heavy. The water was dirty so it definitely worked. This one works like this: you press the button, it works for 3 minutes and turns off. However, the blue LED that illuminates the stainless steel inner shell stays on until you unplug it. Overall, I hope this goes better than in the past. Appears to be of good build quality on first use.
