Like the USB-C connector
I have 2 USB-C boxes, but it's much more convenient to have an extender with a built-in connector for it. I don't need an outlet and can plug it in directly. I've been using this extension for over a month now and haven't had any problems. I have it behind our sofa where I usually sit. I'll never be able to use the socket behind our sofa, but now I can! It's fantastic when it's at arm's length. I'm so glad I put it there. I thought 10ft would be overkill but if it were shorter it wouldn't have achieved it. Full length was definitely required.
