Non-outdoor fan

I bought this fan two years ago. All the time he was outdoors, but under a canopy. Initially the fan worked fine, but over time I found that the screws holding the blades to the fan loosened after a short while. I pulled them up whenever they needed it. I have now discovered that the bushings that dampen the bolts that attach the blades to each bracket are worn/weathered and the blades are not secured to their brackets. I feel the fan, referred to as an "outdoor fan" by the seller, should have been designed better.
