My daughter has to wear a uniform to school. She has a variety of shorts from different brands. The material of this skirt is nice but it is definitely longer. She is small but this is her longest skirt of any brand we have purchased. I ordered them normal size. Waist fit is good, not too tight. I hope she can wear it next year too. If your child is tall, this is a good skirt with a modest cut at the top of the knee. If your kid is small, it may be too long. If your kid wears a uniform then considering the quality and price this is a decent skirt for the school year. Sometimes we just need a clean outfit on Monday and we don't care about the length! LAUGH OUT LOUD.
