Review on Dell ST2321L 23 Inch Wide Screen Monitor with 1920X1080P Resolution by Doug Colley

First off, if you're looking for a new monitor to upgrade your core computing needs, I think this monitor fits the bill. My problem is that I am (admittedly) very picky about my electronics and I also wanted a monitor that could double as an Xbox 360 gaming monitor thanks to the HDMI input. When I saw the price of this one I decided to jump on it. The lack of a VESA mount makes no difference to my needs. My main issue with the Dell ST2321L that I got is that it suffers from pretty bad backlight bleeding on all 4 edges of the screen and it was worst on the bottom edge. Edge. It's not overly noticeable during the day, but it's distracting at night, especially during dark scenes in a movie or when playing Black Ops 2. In case you don't know, almost all LCD screens can suffer from backlight bleeding. , some are more visible than others. It's possible I just received a bad block and could exchange it for another. I decided to return Dell and pay more money by ordering the HP 2511x 25 inch LED monitor instead - black because it's recommended for gaming and for a 25 inch monitor it's still a very good one offers value for money. I'm very happy with it so far and I think it's a huge improvement over the Dell.
