These are great little stools and so strong! When we bought stools for our bar counter that extends from our kitchen island I was stunned to see the current price of countertop stools! When we found these I definitely thought they were supposed to be cheap, but the reviews were good and we gave them a try, especially since the total amount we spend on these stools is on par with any other brand. . My husband wasn't thrilled that he had to put six of these together, but after making a few he kind of got into the stool making groove. To be on the safe side, he taped the connections before screwing them in, because we often have company and he wanted to increase the holding power a bit. They held up great, looked fantastic and were acclaimed for their style by guests. The rocking board is pretty handy too, and thanks to the slim design, it easily fits right under the counter ledge without protruding at all. I'm very glad we found them and are happy with them so far.
