In general, it’s enough, but if the socket is far away or the tabletop is high, then it’s right back to back. In general, if you need a machine for domestic needs, then this is it. If you plan to sew directly on an ongoing basis, then it might be worth thinking about a more serious model, at least with an overlock stitch.
