I previously connected a reversing camera which turned out to be defective. Using the same connectors it was very easy to install as I had already wired it up so it only turns on when reversing. The thin black bezel looks nice and doesn't interfere with any part of my record, which could be a problem for law enforcement. This provides a good wide field of view. You can adjust the camera angle up and down and then adjust (my previous one moved by itself). I have it at an angle so it barely shows my bumper on an 04 GMC Yukon (I have an aftermarket stereo plugged into the video IN port). I can also see my clutch when it's in place so I can use that as a guide. LEDs work well at night and provide visible light, not IR like some. Not as much light as reversing lights, but enough for what's directly behind you. The built-in green/yellow/red guides are good for belaying. Because it's not integrated like the OEM, the rails don't turn with the steering wheel.
