I've been using them for over 20 years. A family member made them for me. I decided to try the "tookies" brand and they really impressed me. It's a durable fabric and if you're replacing an old standard washcloth it might feel a little heavy at first but I think you'll fall in love with it as much as I did. I use them with bleach and all kinds of detergents and they last a long time. I read some comments about tookies not drinking. If you've ever used a suede cloth on a car, you know that before you can use it, you must first wet the cloth. Dry Tuki does not absorb moisture. Once it gets wet, do it under the tap and then wring it out, it will soak in. I daresay one of these cookies will soak up a full glass of liquid and leave more room. And if they really help provide a source of income for the women of Kolkata in India, as the company claims, so much the better! I can say that the package I received was signed by the woman who made it, real or not.
