good equipment - kitchen and dining room

These kitchen napkins are of very good quality and well made. They shrink a little in the dryer, but I'm happy with that. I put them in glass storage containers that go in the fridge with sliced fruits and veggies like strawberries or cucumbers. Dish napkins absorb excess moisture and help food last longer.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Quality item best in category Kitchen & Table Linens

I have had mine for over a year now and have only used one, the quality is excellent. I've read that some say they don't absorb water. At first it didn't happen, but after the hack it did. I had to give them a try and realize I was working with a different product. The durability is excellent. I have bleached my dishes and use bleach in every dish I wash and mine is still thick and beautiful 👍🏾. Thanks I will buy more...

Great eco friendly product for the kitchen

I bought these as an alternative to saving on paper towels in the kitchen and I love them. They need a little massage for the water to be absorbed, but once saturated it absorbs and sounds perfect. They're perfect for washing dishes or cleaning my counters that sometimes need a bit of cleaning, and they hold up much better than paper towels for cleaning surfaces. I washed and dried them along with my other white bedding and they came out fine.

Finally! A worthy replacement for a sponge!

I was looking for an environmentally friendly replacement for plastic sponges and I finally found it! I've replaced my plastic dishwashing brush with a natural one, but inevitably there are bits of stuff stuck that the brushes can't remove. Plus a tabletop. I've never been a fan of kitchen towels that seem to get wet and moldy and never have enough texture to rub anything off with the slightest determination to stay. The coarse-meshed texture of these fats solves this problem. They're not as…

Great alternative to plastic sponges!

I bought this a while ago (about 6 months) and use it in the kitchen all the time. I really like her! They have enough abrasiveness to get rid of most of the dirt, but for really heavy stuff you need something stronger. I use these instead of plastic sponges and am very happy that I no longer waste plastic in the kitchen. I have a wooden bristle brush for stubborn dirt, but to be honest they usually get the job done. I've washed them a couple of times, they're shrinking a bit but that doesn't…

Could be more absorbent but overall good quality

My mother in law used to knit them for me as Christmas gifts but now she is 92 and just can't do it. They're made from a weird kind of artificial cotton because they don't absorb well. When I used it for the first time, did the water literally bead off the cloth? I've learned to manipulate them a little to wet them before use and then wring them out thoroughly to rinse and nang. It's a tightly knit rag, and if it weren't so tight it might pull in easier. I hope they become more usable with more

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • No performance

Great all purpose fabric

I've been using them for over 20 years. A family member made them for me. I decided to try the "tookies" brand and they really impressed me. It's a durable fabric and if you're replacing an old standard washcloth it might feel a little heavy at first but I think you'll fall in love with it as much as I did. I use them with bleach and all kinds of detergents and they last a long time. I read some comments about tookies not drinking. If you've ever used a suede cloth on a car, you know that…

LOVE the story behind them, they come in handy as potholders and trivets!

The story behind it is reason enough (in my humble opinion) to buy it. Tuks are made in Calcutta by very poor women. Your purchase supports a good cause by creating jobs for women in need. I have no regrets at all that I bought them for this reason. I didn't find them useful for cleaning clothes so I use them as potholders. And I love them for this use! However, you can't use them for very high temperatures - you'll need a thicker oven mitt. I use them to spin/spin a pot in the oven, or to…
