don't lie one of the main reasons I bought this bag was the awesome octopus logo. Aside from the logo aesthetic and the price, which I think is quite affordable, the bag is great so far. I've only had it a few days and this weekend I'll have the opportunity to take it out on a boat for my first open water dives (certification!), but so far all my gear fits with more than enough room to grow. I had to collect all the remaining equipment. However, I had to put my gear on and rinse before diving into the pool and it worked great. All my gear came clean and organized in one place and I let it dry before putting it away again with no problems. Open the bag and in doing so I discovered that the zip to open the bag then forms a holdall on the other side in addition to the side pocket - very easy. By the way, this good storage method also works great for my stuff sack. There is plenty of space for small and large things everywhere. I've read that some people complain about rope nets versus synthetic plastic nets, which are said to be stronger, but I got a chance to compare them at a dive show over the weekend and some of these net bags looked pretty flimsy with big gaps between them For me, while this pocket is tighter together, it's just enough to let water through when you're rinsing your gear and enough air to keep everything dry. Over time I'd have to see how the wear factor compares, but I've had it pretty hard for a few days now and it's holding up well. I was so thrilled with my bag that I looked to Kraken Aquatics for other gear as I would also like a dry bag with a logo on it (it's a kraken to scream out how awesome is that!?), so looking forward to seeing more products from this group and also buying some of my other gear with it.
