More than 2 years into the pandemic, I needed a new pair of shoes for work but wasn’t having much luck in clothing stores. I decided to try ordering a pair online. I found that my delight at finding just the shoe I was looking for soon turned into disappointment.I selected these shoes because they are the classic full brogues (wingtip) Oxfords. The shoes came with a plastic shoehorn which is a nice little extra.I had ordered a half-size larger than normal, but found the shoes to be very tight. The leather is hard, cheap, and not-at-all supple. I thought wearing them would "break” them in. I decided to wear them one day at the office. As I walked, the leather would crease and dig into the joint near my big toe, eventually causing the skin to break. Unless you love to cause yourself severe pain, don’t buy these shoes.
