First of all, this dust bag is AWESOME! Easy five stars for the cyclone portion of this kit. The one star rating applies to everything else that comes with this kit and it is far more generous than I would like. Unfortunately, Revain doesn't have a feature that would make a seller give me their stars if they're giving away an unwanted product. So first the dust collector. The attached photos speak for themselves. The shop vacuum pictured was brand new, not even plugged in before I hooked up the Oneida kit to it and attacked my shop's clutter. You can see that the interior was covered in a thin layer of fine dust, but literally only three larger pieces got past the dust substitute. Pretty impressive. I think I'll switch to a HEPA filter in my vacuum to catch all those nice things and keep them in - those little things that mess up your lungs. Knowing I won't clog the filter with coarse dust, I won't waste time constantly cleaning/changing filters. I tried this picture!) from relatively large pieces of wood. There is some finer "dust" out there, but mostly relatively large bits made with a 1-1/4" self-feed cutter through Douglas fir bolts, lots of them. So this isn't a representative "table saw meets MDF" test, but I'm convinced, convinced. Why a one star rating? Because literally everything else in this set is garbage. I don't know who thought three casters and hooking up a bucket to your vacuum was an acceptable solution, but I think a fourth wheel in each set would have killed their gains. I've played around with numerous solutions to connect this piece of junk to my store vacuum, all with horrible failures. This is of course also due to the vacuum, which is a bit narrower than at the top. This meant that any straps holding them together would inevitably slip down at best. tipping the whole set onto the floor while standing at the top of a 10 foot ladder watching this train wreck for the fifteenth time. If you think about it, lying on your side could be the reason EVERY big piece slipped into the vacuum cleaner itself. The only working solution I found was to tie a crazy wheeled bucket to my 40 gallon trash can and move it around. the accumulator is separated from the vacuum. I think I could add a wheel so it at least *tries* to stand on its own, but honestly it would be too heavy for that to work very well. I will most likely throw away the useless roll-up bucket and just put the dust container on the floor next to the vacuum cleaner. Eventually I will build a mobile platform to house all the work. Moral of the story: save your money. *Don't* buy that junk kit. If you're in the market, be sure to purchase the Dust Vice separately and attach it to whichever trash can you prefer. They don't list the 5 gallon bucket lid on their website, but I suspect they may sell it separately if you call direct. Aside from this piece, there is absolutely nothing special about this set - just a pile of money rolled into a ball and set on fire.
