My daughter started school this year and like all Facebook and Pintrest moms I wanted to make a chalkboard. I didn't want to buy a stock image that you can buy on etsy. I wanted to do something. So I went out and bought a $10 blackboard from Wal-Mart and these chalk markers. They say you should prepare your chalkboard before use by rubbing it down with white chalk and then cleaning it, but surprisingly the chalkboard I bought from Wal-Mart didn't need this. The colors in this set are amazing. You get the basics and some highlights. This is a good sentence. The tips are reversible so you can have a beveled or rounded tip. The markers write fairly bold and fairly bold, so there aren't very small lines. I finished my daughter's chalkboard and it looks amazing! If they made these markers in a thinner pen I would definitely buy the same brand.
