Doesn't fit in all Africa sockets.
In Africa we found two (sometimes more) different types of wall sockets. These worked well in Kenya, but in South Africa and Botswana the 3 prong plugs were cylindrical instead of flat like the ones on these devices. Fortunately, the lodgings that we stayed at we able to provide adapters. Also note that in the more modern parts of Africa (e.g. Cape Town upscale hotels) USB jacks are built in to the walls. Consider buying a device that has several plug adaptor configurations to be confident that you have a converter that will work in the most locations.
