Review on 🚴 Blackburn Dual-Purpose Front and Rear Bicycle Light by Ham Channell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bad Redesign is Best in Lights & Reflectors

Blackburn's center headlights were MUCH BETTER than these. In order to charge the 2-FER flashlights, they must be detached from the fastening strap. This puts a lot of strain on the clip as it is serrated for security. Earlier lights had a charging port on the bottom edge so they could remain attached to the bike while charging. Several other styles have appeared since the redesign. , but 2-fer is the only one with decent durability in strobe mode. These brag about how few grams they are, but that's a joke. 99% of their market doesn't care about a 2-3 gram weight difference. If you can't give me your standard critical lap split time and you're not a Category 1 driver then you won't be able to tell the difference other than that you're with Bragging rights and a placebo. Overall, I'm disappointed with the design choices for them. The only reason I bought them was because I gave my son my best. The top of the range is no longer made and they haven't made it clear how their shrink design was used to justify the charging port not being available during installation.
