Bought to replace a GE cooktop that broke while my husband was trying to replace a burnt element. Installation was very easy (for my husband. If you don't know what you're doing call an electrician so you don't electrocute yourself). Heats up quickly and goes out, unlike GE which lasts forever. I love the safety lock feature and the digital controls are very easy to use. We only temporarily glue sealing tape until we get a fairing set as there are a few small gaps in the original cutout. Easy to clean and doesn't scratch yet. Sometimes expensive $800 cooktops aren't that great, and I'm glad I decided to try this one. I definitely recommend it.
