I needed this intake manifold to replace the 5.3 to 6.2 intake manifold on my 17 Silverado. When the air intake arrived it was very well packed in a cardboard box, the air intake was also enclosed in an inflated case. Manifold inspected, no cracks or damage. I installed this and a 6.2 throttle body on my truck and the engine ran perfectly, there was no check engine light and no tuning was required. If you are buying it to replace a manifold from a 5.3 to a 6.2 you will also need to buy a 6.2 PCV hose as the PCV connector is in a different location on the 6.2 than on the 5.3. You can also use regular heater hose and fittings, but I recommend spending $20 on a factory hose for a much cleaner look. The fit was perfect throughout. I highly recommend this product.
