- Very fine yarn. Very strong and ideal for all kinds of projects. So far I've used multiple strands of the same color to count as kumihimo weaving and this works very well for bracelets and anklets with a very pretty design but without creating bulky thickness to wear. The finished braided thread was still small enough that a large hole bead could be inserted to add detail or charms. (So if I'm doing an 8 strand braid I might have 8 colors, but I could use 3-4 lengths of strand for each color on the wheel.)
