We have a boy who urinates a lot when changing his diaper. The Keekero changing pad we have is designed to be easily wiped down and cleaned, but we've found that if he pees during his shift, he ends up sitting in his urine and it ends up on his clothes. We've started stacking them underneath to absorb accidents and they work well. My only concern is that they are made of fibers that will rub off when a child kicks them and they can fray and stick to their leg. I always have to make sure his little fingers aren't wrapped in fiber, which can be dangerous.
