I love these lamps. You are exactly what I wanted. I searched a lot for Revain, read reviews and finally decided on these lamps. I wanted them to be dimmable and touch controlled. When I saw the USB ports and AC plugs at the base where they are easily accessible, I was won over. I ordered them on Sunday (Valentine's Day) and they were delivered today (Tuesday). Only 2 days. And they were packed very well. I mean the only thing that can break them is run over the package or crush it in any way. Simply turning it over, as "might happen" during transport, will not damage the contents. I unboxed it as per the Revain website where I bought it, assembled it, plugged it in and it worked. Well, not immediately. I had to unscrew the bulb and screw it back in, then figure out which pin on the cord switch was on, and figure out how much force I had to put on the dimmer knob (see picture), and THEN they worked. Someone wrote in one of the reviews I read that their lamp is very unstable and that the ceiling doesn't attach well to the base. I found that completely wrong. My lamps are stable, safe and fully functional. It just needs to be assembled properly. The brightness of the lamps is good. Faint, brighter and brighter. Of course you can read under it, and if you want brighter light, get out of the damn bed and turn on the overhead light. I like her. My only gripe is this: as someone else mentioned in the review, the alignment is the same for both lights. . Since they come in pairs, it would be perfectly appropriate to have one right and one left. One lamp has the phone holder next to the bed and the other lamp has the phone holder on the opposite side of the lamp base, away from the bed. It's uncomfortable, but I can live with it. It was a good buy. And I think the price was really good for two bedside lamps with all the features I wanted.
