I would have wished for that years ago. I was about to buy a very expensive vacuum cleaner to reduce the amount of work. Judging by the reviews, even the most expensive ones did not save me from my problem. I was so sad. I have three medium haired cats and a friend with long beautiful hair. I have OCD, have never had pets and wear my hair in braids or in a scarf, I have never experienced hair loss. My friend found this for me and saved me from the game. I used this once and without vacuuming or rugs, the rugs looked like new. We have medium hair rugs and if you follow the simple instructions your rug will appear so clean. Once the layer of hair is removed, there is no longer a need to take the razor to the vacuum cleaner brushes to remove tangled hair; or needing to use multiple vacuum tools multiple times with determination between them to get rid of dirt. First rake, then loosen, then vacuum. In addition, the rake can be used between larger cleanings to keep the house clean. Sprinkle the baking soda, then scoop. Or spray EO and lightly water and rake. It also helps collect cobwebs in hard-to-reach places. I think Metal was such a good idea, I'm very strong because I need crutches to walk and I break a lot of things lol but it's holding up. Don't be fooled by the synthetics, they are simply applied to the surface, they penetrate deep into the pile. Don't forget to bring a bag to collect hair along the way. Just one problem: make sure you have a bobby pin, a clothespin, an old rat tail comb, something long and thin. Try not to put your fingers in your teeth. Use a piece of cardboard to hold it (I use a clothespin) and clip it to the flat top of the rake for easy carrying.
