I used mine on a 2016 Ford F-250 (F250) Lariat Diesel. All the cigarette lighters in the truck are on a permanent circuit, so it's difficult for me to manually turn on the dashcam every time I get in the truck. You often forget to turn it off. I've looked everywhere for different ways to hardwire it to the ignition controlled circuit. Instead of running more wiring all over my truck, I found I got it up and running in literally 30 seconds and it works great, and I was able to get rid of the 10 foot power cable running through the headliner and A pillar ran. This is a much cleaner and more convenient use of the dash cam. If I could give 10 stars I would.
