Thunderbolt, USB, and power connectors are always changing and need constant reconfiguration
If you need to undock your laptop every day, then this dock isn't for you. I have two monitors connected to the Thunderbolt ports and a keyboard connected to the USB port. I take my MacBook Pro with me when I leave my home office and plug it back in when I come back. I've had to adjust ports every few weeks and it's neither trivial nor pleasant. So much so that I discontinued the dock altogether. Too bad it happened outside of the returns window and to my surprise the support window. The money could have been spent elsewhere.
