    Simply OK Notebook Accessories

    Hex key can't be removed, no D adapter for MAG Safe 2 included, none of the cables were tied with zip ties in the box, they were all loose and zip ties just lay in a box. I assume I received a returned item that was not properly inspected or QAed prior to shipment. It is, and the investment did not expect this experience.

    The designers obviously put a lot of thought into adapting this dock to the visual design of Apple devices. It's visually appealing, durable, and rubber feet ensure it doesn't move. I didn't find the installation process difficult at all. Just read the instructions and take your time! When delivered, two DisplayPort cables were routed to both DisplayPort/Lightning Port interfaces. I can certainly understand one, but not both.     It was great while it worked

    The docking station worked for several months. It was great to get into the office, dock my laptop and get to work, but then it stopped working. I had to take it out of the dock multiple times to get it working until I finally took it apart. I think it has a lot of potential, but the product itself isn't durable (or maybe it was just that particular item). , I don't know.) I will contact the seller and ask to exchange the device.

    great if you set it up properly

    Like many other reviews, the product conveys a love-hate relationship with the owner. If it works it's great, if it doesn't work it takes 30 minutes to install and screw the power cord in properly. I have a dual HDMI monitor setup, I would highly recommend very good Mini-Dvi-HDMI cables. I'm only giving 3 stars because it requires no maintenance as it requires setting up the power cord, it seems they could have designed this better.

    I bought this with apprehension as some reviewers made comments about its facility. I had a little problem adjusting the power plug correctly, after two tries everything worked fine. The laptop fits snugly into the docking station, requiring two hands to remove it from the docking station. I still have a few things to decide: 1) I need to do something with the audio and microphone when the Mac is docked, and 2) I need to remember to undock the Mac when I leave the office day, and take it with…

    Thunderbolt, USB, and power connectors are always changing and need constant reconfiguration

    If you need to undock your laptop every day, then this dock isn't for you. I have two monitors connected to the Thunderbolt ports and a keyboard connected to the USB port. I take my MacBook Pro with me when I leave my home office and plug it back in when I come back. I've had to adjust ports every few weeks and it's neither trivial nor pleasant.     A solid addition for MacBook users

    This is a great device with a major design flaw. no external power switch. I know, I know, the Apple keyboard has it. but I'm one of those people who need to use the wide Logitec keyboard. but on the other hand it has cramped my work space and now the cables are well organized.

    First make sure everything is in order

    SO GOOD so far. It took about a week, the setup took a whole day. You MUST purchase a separate charger. You must position your desk/dock exactly where you want it. That's step 1. Step 2 is fine-tuning the ports. If you keep moving and mixing ports, you'll ruin your docking experience. So again: 1. You need to dock in a 100% secure position, 2.
