I needed to replace an old triple that I had converted into a single with a bash guard because the pedal threads got stripped out beyond repair. I had used the red version of these on a previous build for a kid and they seemed totally fine. Just grabbed another set of 175mm to put on my hardtail 29er configured to be 1x with bash guard and it's perfect. I had to use the spacers for the bottom bracket so the crank spindle splines were in the right place, but I used the old higher quality XTR bottom bracket that I already had installed.For the price, you really can't beat this crankset.
