I use this cable for my 5250w generator that plugs into an outside wall that I installed a few months ago for fans, a small air conditioner and (if needed) to power a fridge freezer. The cord is short enough (25 feet) to fit into a generator block so everything is available if the power goes out. A bonus are the lighted ends which I don't usually use but come in handy in the middle of the night. The wire is marked #10 which is EXACTLY the same as 10 AWG and I keep seeing more. more of this type of marking on offshore lines. Now for the weight of the cord. For simplicity, we'll use a weight of 100 feet. This product weighs 22.4 pounds. Voltec weighs 23 pounds. The yellow jacket weighs 23 pounds. ANY review that says it isn't copper is FALSE.
