Bought after the dishwasher broke. I hate washing dishes with my hands due to my back and neck injuries and this thing really made hand washing a pleasure. I like to mount it on the side of the kitchen sink instead of under it; it's just my preference. I can just slide the bowl between two brushes, rotate the bowl a few times, and the bowl is ready to be rinsed. With three brushes I can also make bowls (two brushes in the bowl, one outside, wring and rinse). The brushes are easy to unscrew and can be quickly cleaned by rubbing them together. All of the parts, including the bristles and screw threads, feel firm, strong, and durable, and I don't expect any of them to wear out anytime soon, especially compared to your average kitchen scraper or other plastic thing. I'm very glad I bought it and will do it again. I can't speak professionally but for the house/kitchen I say do it.
