I bought a 2016 F-150 earlier this year and when Ford updated their Sync 3 software they added Apple Car Play for added this model year, but you had to replace the USB module to make it "full" work. I used these tools to get the old one out without damaging the dash trim. They worked great and I plan to use them when making further modifications in the future (adding a hitch controller etc.). There's nothing fancy about them, but the different sizes make it easy to find the right tool for the job.
