Let me start by saying that overall this is not a 4 star speaker set. But for what he's trying to be. $20-$25 speaker/subwoofer kit, that's 4 stars. The satellite speakers are small, but not too bad. I've replaced fairly new (also cheap) Logitech speakers and have no complaints. Yes, you need to make some adjustments, and if your computer has an equalizer, even better. But for just watching a streaming video and a random song, it's fine. The company loses a star because of the ridiculously short cable from the controller to the subwoofer. It needed at least a foot more length. EDIT: The controller could be MUCH better. Not only the very annoying light blue ring that makes me want to hide it, but also the on/off button is a terrible design. I bought this to replace speakers that didn't have a power button that forces you to change the volume every time you turn them on and off. I just wanted to set the volume and never change it. But the on/off switch of this controller is too hard to switch. You'll almost certainly have to pick the controller up, or at least hold it with your other hand. And if you do, you will most likely turn the volume knob too easily. Rather than just being an annoyance, that silly blue ring should be a button to easily toggle it on and off. Such a modern design for everything, but the chunky on/off button is just a weird design. Overall I'd say that while it's not so bad that I feel they should be returned, I definitely wouldn't buy them again. But hey, if you want your room to be lit up with blue light for some reason, and you're constantly changing the volume, then for around $20 these speakers aren't that bad.
