Great product: Ice & Snow Grips
I know they are a bit more expensive than Yak tracks but I walk my dogs twice a day over fairly rough terrain, lots of loose dirt and leaves and then cover their ice. or snow and climbing steep hills, hiking shoes are not suitable. I always see yak tracks hanging at the beginning of the trail because they fall down. I put them on a pair of old hiking boots and they are great! I keep them in a bag in my truck just in case.
