Great hub but bandwidth too low for a MacBook Pro

I originally thought this hub was fantastic. Over time, 2 issues emerged that changed my mind. 1) Power Through does not work. for MacBook Pro. My MBP requires 87 watts of power. When passing the hub, the charge drops to 47 watts. Over time, the laptop shuts down due to insufficient power. 2) The micro SD card is too deep. You cannot insert and remove the Micro SD card without using a sharp object. The card sits too far in the hub before the spring snaps it into place.
