I think the Arduino Uno is a well made piece of hardware. The reason I took it was to create a pendulum motor with a mini servo. Having never touched anything like this before, a few google searches led me to the realization that this board could do exactly what I wanted. Documentation abounds. I found it worked well and my computer (Windows 7 Home Prem) found the driver immediately so I was able to get to work quickly. When you look at a product like this, you probably have an idea of what you want to do with it before you buy it. So I gave it 5 out of 5 because it did exactly what I needed it to do. I'm sure there is huge potential here for other big and better things that I've created on this board. As far as basic programming goes, the compiler and everything worked quite well. I recommend this product to anyone who needs to create a "robot" in a very simple way or just wants to experiment. The price is good and the potential is almost unlimited. Obviously people really interested in this can ask for other features, but that's what other Arduino versions are for. Pros: + Price + Simplicity + Well designed Cons: - Nothing I can give with my experience. can meet many needs.
