Doesn't hold 12 gauge cord securely

Made several attempts with the connector end to securely and securely attach 12 gauge extension cords. Unfortunately the size of the screw and screw lugs were not large enough to handle this wire size and hold the wires securely once attached. I suspect this will work fine for 14 gauge wires. I'm a bit surprised it was UL recognized for this wire size given the small size of the screw head and ferrule.
